We continue to strive for excellence, improving services to our Clients, developing more efficient procedures and tools to better manage projects. We truly enjoy what we do and believe this influences our management style and working relationships with Clients, consultants and trades.


Osiris Management Limited (Osiris) is a registered corporation in the Province of Alberta; Osiris was incorporated in April of 1990 and for the next twenty years has been providing Project and Construction Management Service to individuals and to the development industry.
Since inception our philosophy has been to strive for excellence in the delivery of Construction Management Services. This is an ongoing process, with each completed project something new gets added to our repertoire. We have been successful over the years by adhering to our management principals and organization, things we know that work.

The owner John Hutchins believes in a hands on approach ensuring he stays involved and up-to-date in each sites progress, stepping in to assist where ever needed and being attentive to Clients concerns and wishes.
Innovative problem solving has been one of our key assets in dealing with difficult situations, or unanticipated problems that will arise during any construction project. A key component to this has been our employees. There is a solution to every problem; we just have to find it.

Business started with the construction of single family homes and small inner city condominiums. This is where we learned to be flexible in our thinking and adapt to the community wishes, city regulations and the Clients desire to build a project. We have built several projects in communities throughout Calgary. One of our residential Clients also owned several commercial developments and we soon became well versed in commercial interiors. This included office interiors to Tenant spaces in shopping centres. Calgary is the base of our operations, but we have built for Clients in Red Deer, Sylvan Lake, and Edmonton.

Over the past twenty years we have grown our expertise and knowledge to include the construction of high quality single family homes to almost 1000 multifamily units built, and a multitude of commercial and industrial projects including the renovation of one of Calgary’s 1920s religious facilities into unique condominiums recognized by the City of Calgary with a Historic Plaque.

About the Owner:

The owner of Osiris, John Hutchins started in the construction industry during his summer vacation from high school in 1968 and 69. This was at the new General Motors Truck Plant in Oshawa Ontario. After high school he entered the Army Corps of Engineers and spent the next eleven years learning to design and construct Civil Works, plus he learned contract administration for projects administered by the Military. After obtaining his release from the Army he worked for a number of general contractors coming to the realization he could do as well running his own company and so created Osiris in 1990.

Osiris provides our clients with a comprehensive service tailored to meet the particular needs of the project. This can be from the conceptual design stage, where Osiris would lead the design team of Architects and Engineers, through to the pre-construction and construction phases.

Simple or complex projects.
The complexity and cost of construction projects require effective management to ensure there is adequate control of manpower, time and expenditures. Our Construction Management concept involves the implementation of all functions necessary to achieve this objective while permitting the client the degree of control necessary to determine their priorities and preferences.
